Life Legacy
John Earl Malcuit, 62, of Whitney passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Park Plaza Nursing Home in Whitney. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney, Texas with Chaplain Marvin Mott officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 4, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas.
John Earl was born December 7, 1949 in Wayne County, Ohio to Charles Lloyd and Darlene (Kaufman) Malcuit. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith. John Earl was an avid pool player and a Jimmy Hendrix fan. He enjoyed listening to music and loved his family very much.
A special thank you to Odyssey Hospice and Park Plaza Nursing Home for their loving care of Mr. Malcuit.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his son, Sonny Malcuit of Wimbledon, Utah; brothers: James Malcuit of Strafford, New Hampshire and Larry Malcuit of Mount Dora, Florida; sister, Suella Stevens of Whitney; grandson, Dylan Malcuit of Wimbledon, Utah; grand-daughter, Makayla Malcuit of Wimbledon, Utah; nieces: Melanie Stevens of Whitney and Misty Gregg of Whitney; nephews: Greg Stevens of Whitney and Jeff Stevens of Whitney; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
