C.O. “Joe” Bruce, Jr., 80, of Blum, passed away on September 17, 2019 at a Fort Worth hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joe was born on March 5, 1939, in San Angelo, Texas to Claude Oliver Bruce, Sr and Onita (Gollihar) Bruce. On May 28, 1994, he married Glenda Renfro. He was the owner and operator of C.O. Bruce and Son Trucking Company for many years and trucking was absolutely his life.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Glenda, on October 30, 2008.

Survivors include his friends, Burlie Pedigo and Mary Hestilow and his pet companions, two Schnauzers.
