Callier was born June 7, 2011, in Hillsboro to proud parents, Kara Torstrick Mackey and Jason Mackey. That precious baby would grow into a sweet and loving little boy who was full of life. His smile could light up anyone’s day and you never saw him without it. Like most boys his age, Callier was very active, full of energy, and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed spending his time playing baseball and being at the farm. Callier was a third grader at Hillsboro Intermediate School, where he was a friend to many. He attended First United Methodist Church and Trail To The Cross Cowboy Church, both in Hillsboro.
Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather, Donald Mackey.
Those left to treasure their memories of Callier include his parents, Jason Mackey and Kara Mackey; sister, Meredith Mackey; paternal grandmother, Cathy Mackey; maternal grandparents, Brian and Kim Torstrick; uncle, aunt and cousin, Jim, Jody, and Maddie Mackey; aunt, uncle, and cousins, Erin, Phillip, Reed, Carter, and Jules Prince; great-uncle and aunt, Sam and Vicki Crain; cousins, Matt, Nicole, Gus, and Dub Crain; the Gray family; several other relatives; and many friends.
