Debbie Renee Green, 52, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Texas Health Resource in Bedford, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro, with Bro. Willie William officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Hillsboro Church of Christ in Hillsboro.
Debbie was born October 16, 1967, in Corsicana, Texas to Bobby and Brenda (Humphrey) Stephens. She attended Frost High School and graduated in 1986. After high school, she attended Navarro College in 1988. On January 8, 1995, she was united in marriage to Charles Green. She worked at Dairy Queen for many years, then Jim’s Crispy Chicken, McDonald's, Starbucks and then Home Health Care.
Debbie was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved to be crocheting, reading, and chilling out with her children and the grandchildren. She also enjoyed talking to people, she never met a stranger and she loved going to church. She was a member of the McDonald and Pine Street Church of Christ in Hillsboro.
Preceding her in death were her parents; grandparents; and one grandson, Dondrell Williams.
She was survived by her former husband, Charles Green of Hillsboro; children, Sandra William and husband, Marcus, of Hillsboro, Nikki Betts and husband, Adam, of Hillsboro, and Arianna Phillips of Hillsboro; sister, Sherri Green and husband, Tim, of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Dauntae Batson, Tra’Vion Ephraim, De Anthony Betts, and Da’ Kari Betts; niece, Talana Green; nephews, Dexter Green, Dusty Green, and Timothy Green; and two great-nieces, Paris Green and Avery Green.
