Justin Michael Lemmer, 29, of Malone, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, near Penelope, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, at the funeral home.
Justin Lemmer was born September 29, 1990, to Norma Roberts and Michael Lemmer in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was raised by Norma and Randy (dad) Roberts. Justin graduated from Bay City, Texas in 2008. He then served 6 years in the United States Army, with one tour in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
Justin was an only child and had no children of his own. When he was not working, he was a video gamer at heart and loved playing video games. Justin also liked to hunt with his dad, Randy. He had a big heart, was a very kind and giving person, and loved all animals and taking care of them. His personality consisted of picking and joking with people he loved, such as his Aunt Julie.
Although Justin was an only child, he had a very special bond with his Army brothers and also a special bond with Ray St. Denis, Justin Gardner, and Jesse Revia. He was loved by and will be greatly missed by his co-workers because of the joy he brought to the work environment and his work ethic.
Justin left behind his parents, Norma and Randy Roberts and Michael Lemmer; grandfather, Glen Frailey (PoPo); grandmothers, Mary Schirmer (Nana) and Anna Roberts; siblings, 2 step sisters; 3 half siblings; 5 aunts; and 5 uncles. He had a very large family and will be missed by many.
