Kathleen "Kay" Rogge

Kathleen “Kay” Louise Rogge, 69, of Hillsboro, TX, died August 30, 2019 at her home. Kay was born October 29, 1949, in Madison, WI to Edward and Joan Rogge. She graduated from Tulane University in 1971, and then from Tulane Law School with a J.D. in 1975. She was a practicing attorney for many years in Louisiana. She worked most recently as a title agent for a leading international oil and gas general contractor in Texas. She was passionate about her work and enjoyed gardening in her free time. She was a talented and avid needlepoint artist. She was a dynamic woman whose friends were dear to her. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steven Edward Rogge and David Paul Rogge, and her parents, Joan Lepien Rogge and Edward Alexander Rogge. She is survived by her twin sister, Katherine Ruckdeschel and her husband Mike of Pascagoula, MS; three sons, Lange W. Allen and his wife Shawna of San Antonio, TX, Robert S. Allen and his wife Katie of Dallas, TX, and Edward A. Allen of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Robert Walker Allen and Huntley Allen of San Antonio, TX, and William Allen and Margaret Anne Allen of Dallas, TX; two nieces, Rachel Smith and her husband Jeremy of Cary, NC, and Erica Ruckdeschel of Pascagoula, MS; and two nephews, David Ruckdeschel and his wife Lauren of Slidell, LA, Caleb Ruckdeschel and his wife Chelsea of Austin, TX.
