Alica Collins

Alica Kay (Carrington) Collins, 60, of Azle, Texas, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025, at her home. Funeral service will take place at noon, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. A visitation will be held preceding the funeral from 10:00 am to noon, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Marshall and Marshall.

She was born June 19, 1965, to John D. Carrington and Myrtle Louise Rains Waddell Carrington, in Misawa, Japan.

Alica had many hobbies, including gardening, learning to play the guitar, attending concerts, camping at McCown Valley, crafts, coloring, playing pool, and shopping. She loved family gatherings and was always planning a get together with family and close friends. She loved rock and roll music best. Alica loved all Holidays, but Christmas was her favorite. She was considered to be a fashionista who loved to get dressed up for any occasion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Myrtle Carrington and her brother, Roland Curtis Smith. Alica is survived by her children, Kristie Mae Wallin, of Azle, Texas, David Harmon Collins, of Whitney, and Melissa Ann Collins of Whitney; her brothers, Ronnie Tye Wemmer and Larry Carrington, both of Azle; and her twin sister, Judy Dee Carrington, of Azle.
