Angie Ann Lara

Angie Ann Lara, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on July 24, 2026. She was born to Henry and Adela on December 7, 1957.

Angie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. For 46 years, she shared a loving marriage with her husband, Marcos Alcala.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Marcos Alcala; her daughter, Joyce Lara Dustin and husband, Jason Dustin; her grandchildren, Analicia Lara and wife, Jessica; Jason Dustin Jr. and wife, Crystal; Marcos Dustin and Brittney Lolless. She was also blessed with a great-grandson, Isaiah Dustin, who brought her tremendous joy.

Angie is also survived by her sisters, Adela Puente, Christine Olvera, Bonnie Lara, and Nellie Phifer; and her brothers, Sammy Lara and wife, Isabel, Larry Lara, and Paul Lara, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Adela Cavazos Lara, her brother, Henry Lara, and her sister, Linda Lara.

Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro. Graveside services will take place at 12:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Itasca Cemetery.
