Bernice Jackson

Bernice Martha Jackson, 89, of Missouri City, Texas and formerly of Whitney passed away September 1, 2005 at a Houston nursing home. Bernice was the daughter of Eldridge Bud and Anna Blane Braggs. She grew up in Whitney. In 1949 she married Morris Jackson and he preceded her in death in 1993. She worked at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston for 30 years as an LVN. After retiring she moved back to Whitney and returned to Houston in 2000. Bernice was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Whitney and a member of Eastern Star.
