Billy Floyd Ables

Billy Floyd Ables was born on September 7, 1935, to Grace Carpenter and Atlas Ables in Baird, TX. He Served in the US Army from 1953 to 1962. He married Laura Nell Bland on January 1, 1958. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Billy's life during the following services: A visitation will be held at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors located at 201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692 on May 8, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be conducted on May 9, 2025, at Whitney Memorial Park, situated at 510 South Bosque Street, Whitney, TX 76692, beginning at 2:00 PM and ending at 3:00 PM.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Atlas Ables and Grace Carpenter, his wife, Laura Ables, his Sons, Keith Ables and Eric Ables, his Daughter, Melissa Tennison, and his granddaughters, Hiedi Ripper and Rebecca Tennison.

Billy was survived by Son, David Ables and wife Angela Ables of DeLeon, TX, Grandchildren, Stephanie Sharp and Husband Jason of Jacksonville, TX, Heather Adye and husband Jeremy of Whitney, TX, Cassidy McPherson and husband Jordan of Weatherford, TX, Kimberly Arango and husband Ernesto of Tyler, TX and Eric Dalton Ables of Weatherford, TX along with numerous great grandchildren.
