Billy Napps

Billy Dean Napps, 74, of Covington died Monday, September 17, 2007, in Covington. Billy was born September 16, 1933 in Woodbury, Texas the son of Morgan Dean and Jewel Manley Napps. On April 12, 1958 he married Jessie Durant. He served his country in the U. S. Army. For 40 years he worked as a telephone repairman at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. After retirement, he enjoyed working outside and also raised goats for a while. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Edward Lee Napps. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Napps of Covington; two sons, Bobby Dean Napps and wife, Janet, of Waxahachie and Brian Keith Napps of Covington; three grandchildren, Laura Wright of Rusk and Christopher and Leanna Napps both of Waxahachie.
