Bobby Wayne Harrell

Bobby Wayne Harrell earned his place in Heaven on November 6, 2025. He was born on October 28, 1943, in

Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to Harvey and Ada Jane Hoover Harrell. Bobby started driving semi trucks in his 20s and drove until March of 2014 at the age of 70, only after a semi wreck forced him to stop. He loved the open roads and the feeling of freedom that his travels provided him. Bobby married Nancy Gray on January 16, 1963, and remained married for 26 years, having 3 children. He was a wonderful dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandbabies and enjoyed their visits. Bobby had a great sense of humor and one of the biggest hearts. He never hesitated to help someone in need and was always there to support his family and friends. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and old westerns in his spare time. His favorite saying when asked how he was feeling was "with my fingers". He touched so many lives and left a lasting mark not only with his family, including his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, friends, their children, and his grandchildren's friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, father, nine of his brothers and sisters, and son Bobby Wayne Harrell Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Elisha Van Scyoc and husband Jeff, and son Jerry Harrell of Whitney, Texas. Ex-wife Nancy Gray and brother-in-law James Gray of Luguna Park, Texas. Sisters Martha Ann Wooten of Davison, Michigan and Peggy Noe of Huntington Beach, California. Grandchildren Justin Bartley and wife Jessica, Jade Bartley, Lacey Melton, and husband Cody Henderson of Whitney, TX. Destiny Smith and husband Josh of Crosby, TX. Ashley DelArmond and husband Pat Leddon of Anna, TX. Warren Ciccarello of New Mexico. Brett Harrell of Ft. Worth, TX, Issac Harrell, Eric Harrell, and wife Beatrice, and Shy Ann Ipsen of Hillsboro. Great-grandchildren Abel Mendez, Kyson Bartley, Kinzlea Bartley, Joseph Plummer Il, Skylar Harrell, Ava Smith, Eric Harrell Jr., Teagan and Aubriella Tinley, Hazley Head, Nola DelArmonda, and Waylon Leddon.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
