Brenda Strickland

Brenda was the daughter of Ernest L. and Lillie Halbert Daughtry. As a young girl, she was raised in Hill County. On April 2, 1971 she married Paul Strickland. For over 35 years she served as a Certified Nurse?s Aide in the health care field. She was a Baptist by faith. Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Frances May Atchison and Peggy Jo Claridy; and two brothers, Burlin Daughtry and William Lee Daughtry. Survivors include her husband, Paul Strickland of Walnut Springs; two children, David Earl Daughtry of Walnut Springs and Darla K. Abner and husband, Christian, also of Walnut Springs; four brothers, James Daughtry of Cleburne, and Ernest Dean Daughtry, Archie Wayne Daughtry and Danny Daughtry, all of Walnut Springs; one sister, Nelda Beasley of Morgan; and three grandchildren.
