Charles Thomas Neagle

Charles Thomas Neagle, born on September 8, 1951, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2026. He was a cornerstone in the lives of many, known for his caring and loving nature towards everyone he encountered. Charles embraced life with warmth and joy, creating cherished memories around the campfire in his backyard, where he often welcomed friends and family. Many evenings were filled with laughter, music, and the simple pleasure of enjoying a cold beer with those he loved.

For 27 years, Charles was proud to be a member of the American Legion Post #522 in Whitney, Texas, where he found camaraderie through activities such as playing pool, shuffleboard, and dancing. A true enthusiast, he had an unwavering allegiance to the Dallas Cowboys, often found shouting at the television in passionate support for his team. Throughout his life, he worked diligently as a manufacturer, a role that was a testament to his hardworking spirit.

Charles is survived by his beloved partner of 22 years, Debbie Altman; his daughters Lorie Clary and Kim Densman and spouse Bobbie; son Johnny Pay Neagle and wife Amy; daughter Ashley Neagle; stepson Michael Altman and wife Ashley; stepdaughter Taria Edwards and husband Kevin; stepson "Lil Buddy" Josh Altman; sister Donna Walker and husband Eddie; along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Etna Wood; stepdad, Jerry Wood; and son, Charles Dewayne Hughes. Charles will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy he brought to all who knew him.
