Charles Ross

Charles was born April 13, 1916 in Costa Mesa, California to Charles B. and Edna A. Watts Ross. He lived 47 years in Orange County, California and in Whitney since August 1969. During World War II he served in the U. S. Army and was involved in two invasions. A life member of DAV and American Legion #522, he was a protestant. Preceding him in death were his wife and parents. Survivors include a brother, Ted Ross; a sister, Betty Herbst of Charlotte, West Virginia; two nephews, Gilbert Kelly and wife, Margaret, of Whitney, and John D. Hendrix and wife, Jane, of Marietta, California; and several grand nephews and grand nieces.
