Cheryl Franks

Cheryl Lynne Douglas Franks, 57, of Addison, Texas died Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Cheryl was born November 6, 1948 in Brownwood, Texas the daughter of Col. Tommy Lynn and Olene Marie Lloyd Douglas. Cheryl was very much a people person who was a great storyteller and loved to talk on the phone. She also loved to read and watch Lifetime movies. She was a mother of the world. Preceding her in death were her father, Col. Tommy Lynn Douglas, and her mother and step-father, Olene & Jake Powell. Survivors include her children, Terry Franks and wife, Jenni, of Austin, Mariesha Ohlfs and husband, Nathan, of Burlington, WI, Jo Dee Alyssa Trammell of Addison, Zachary Scott Trammell of Anna, and Lisa Jo Franks of Kemp; and her brothers, Mike Douglas and wife, Leah, of Arlington, Terry Douglas and wife, Cindy, of Plano, and Craig Powell of Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors, P. O. Box 410, Hillsboro, TX 76645, to help with funeral expenses.
