Chessie Fanning

Chessie Williams Fanning, 83, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Chessie was born November 17, 1923 in Gadsden, Alabama the daughter of Bonnie Rawls and Roxie Hudgins Huggins. Chessie was an excellent cook who loved to take trips and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her family laughing and having fun. She attended Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, Albert Williams, on April 20, 1980; second husband, Dalton Fanning, in 2001; a son, Al ?Tinker? Williams; a sister, Margie Porter; and a brother, Wesley Huggins. Survivors include her children, Sandra Ivie and husband, Johnny, of Whitney, Sharon George and husband, Ralph, of Hillsboro, and David Williams and wife, Jeannie, of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
