Clara Belle Schulze of Malone, born on August 9, 1933, in Coolidge, Texas, transitioned to eternal rest on September 19, 2025. Clara was a beloved member of her community in Hillsboro, Texas, renowned for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Clara attended school in Hubbard, where she graduated from Hubbard High School in 1950. Shortly thereafter, on December 16 of the same year, she united in marriage to Vernon Schulze. Together, they built a life rooted in love and hard work, residing on a farm in Malone where they raised their family. Clara demonstrated a remarkable work ethic, holding positions at Kreditors Dress Factory in Hubbard as a dress inspector and later serving as an insurance agent for Schulze Insurance in Malone until her retirement in 1997.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Clara found joy in many passions. She was an avid sewer, a talented cook and baker, and a gardener who cultivated beauty in her surroundings. Above all, she cherished moments spent with her grandchildren, showering them with love and support.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vernon Schulze, who passed away on December 27, 2010, her brother Bobby Sanders, her sister Mary Lou, and two great-grandsons, Connor and Cameron.
She leaves behind a loving legacy, including her son Rayford Schulze and his wife Becky, daughter Diane Luttrell, son David Schulze and his wife Tammy, as well as seven grandchildren: Amy Peavy and her husband Michael, Jessica Newbury and her husband Lonnie, Megan Gillette, Erin Schulze, Andrew Chapman and his wife Mikayla, Kennedy Jackson and her husband Tyler, and Bella Schulze. Clara also adored her ten great-grandchildren: Kynlee, Kaden, and Kasen Peavy; Madilynn and Nolan Newbury; Riley, Adler Gillette; and Mikynlee, Reagan, and Harper Chapman. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Clara Belle Schulze's life will be celebrated with a visitation on September 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas. This will be followed by a funeral service on September 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro, with Pastor Michael Nemec officiating, concluding with a burial at Hillcrest Garden of Memory on the same day.
Clara’s memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
