Clayton Carmichael

Clayton A. Carmichael 93, of Whitney passed away at his residence on Friday, November 4, 2016. Funeral services will beheld at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. A visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the funeral home.

Clayton was born on October 29, 1923, in Minneapolis, to the late Clayton Albert and Helen Martha(Snow) Carmichael . He was married to Norma Pauline Carmichael who preceded him in death on August 20, 1982.

Also preceding in death was a daughter, Carol Xavier Jones and five siblings.

Survivors include his children, Marilyn Carmichael Short of Mexico, Deborah Ann Davis of Kansas City and Steve and Deborah Lynch of Whitney; grandchildren, Kimberly, Misty, Tammy, Sheena, Cecily, Jennifer, Stephanie, Stephen, Chris, Casey, Clayton, Amy and Ashley; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and also survived by his long time close friend Charlene Whalen.
