Cookie Graham

Cookie Graham, 62, of Hillsboro passed away on July 5, 2008 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Henry and Agnes Piotrowski Bafia. On Oct. 16, 1965 she married John Graham, Sr. in Chicago. Cookie had owned and operated a daycare, loved to work with needlepoint, crossword puzzles, baking and listening to records. She also loved to travel, going on cruises, bird watching and feeding and walking her dogs. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents and aunt, Gertrude Marek. Survivors include her husband, John of Hillsboro; sons, John Graham, Jr. and wife, Kim, Daniel Graham, Jason Graham and fiancé, Monica Equels all of Hillsboro; brothers, Henry Bafia, Jr. and wife, Joan of Elverta, CA, Thomas Bafia of Glen Dale, CA; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Michelle Graham of Hillsboro, Ashli and Caitlin Thompson, James and Jonathan Equels all of Temple.
