Del Fina Perez

Del Fina Perez, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at her home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 22, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro with burial to follow at Frost Cemetery. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Marshall and Marshall.

Del Fina Perez, 98, was born on November 10th, 1927, in Coahuila, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Perez, her daughters Maria-Santa Perez, Maria Perez and Julia Cruz Perez. She is also preceded in death by her sons Martin Perez and Arturo Perez. She is survived by her children, Juan Perez of Red Oak, Gloria Ybarra of Hillsboro, Rebeca Perez of Guanajuato, Rafael Perez of Arkansas, and Lauro Perez of Mission, Texas. Two brothers Ernesto and Salvador Covarubias and 25 grandkids, 32 great-grandkids, and 9 great-great-grandkids.

Miss Del Fina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, embroidery, reading her Bible and seeing her grandkids laugh and play. She will be deeply missed by all who have known her. We gather here today to celebrate and remember her beautiful long life. We pray for her peace and safe passage unto the Lord until we meet again.
