Donald Swanson

Donald Swanson, 72 of Whitney passed away July 8, 2007 in Whitney. He was born on Feb. 20, 1935 in Chicago, Il to Earl And Juanita YoungSwanson. He married Murlene Tankersley in 1977. He retired from American Airlines in 1996. He had lived in Whitney since 1998 and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Murlene; children, Deborah Montes, Donnie Swanson, Danny Swanson, David Swanson, Darrell Swanson; step children, Patricia Tankersley, Terry Hunter, Gary Hunter, Tom Hunter; brothers, Fred, Charlie , Norman , Ronald, Earl, John Swanson; sisters, Fran Carten and Cathy Bradford.
