Dorothy Whalen

Dorothy was the daughter of William and Virginia Bradshaw Dillenger. On April 11, 1959 she married J. W. Whalen in Dallas. Dorothy worked for the Simmons Company for 12 years as a seamstress. She was very accomplished at needlepoint, and also enjoyed working on her computer. Preceding her in death were her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her husband, J. W. Whalen of Whitney, daughter, Pamela Scharman of Destin, Florida, sons, Michael Horton of Dallas and Russell Whalen of Aquilla, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
