Biography
Douglas Luther Cain 76, of Whitney passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. The family will hold a private memorial service later this month.
Douglas was born on October 23, 1942 in Maryville, Tennessee to Jacob Luther and Essie Lee(Shell) Cain.
He owned Star Sanitation for 20 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Melody Cain; children, Lee Elaine Cain, Marshall Wade Cain, Bradley Wayne Cain; brother, George Leroy Cain; sister, Darlene Veazey, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
