Earl Hickey

Earl Gardner Hickey was called home on June 22, 2025. He was born on August 3, 1963, to Sally and James Fredericks in Louisville, Georgia. Earl was preceded in death by his mother Sally Toalston, father James Fredericks, and nephew AJ Cleveland. He is survived by his daughter Heather Hickey, step-daughter Ashley, step-daughter Desiree', step-son Levi, two sweet grand-dogs, and precious granddaughters, brother Guy Fredericks (Tina), sister Sheila Shekels, sister Freda (David Shekels), sister Susan Kizer (Bobby), sister Beth Shastid (Lee), sister Tina Montgomery (Chad), many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, a very special Aunt Clara and Uncle Gary Holinbaugh, other aunts, many cousins, and countless friends.

Earl was loved by everyone he met. He was generous, kind, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He would do anything for anyone. Earl was a hard worker, an avid fisherman, and was always working on a project (or seven!).

Earl loved his family fiercely and was the absolute best father to his only daughter, Heather, who was his pride and joy. A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM at 15251 FM 56 in Kopperl, Texas. The family asks that you join them for a meal as they honor and remember Earl's life.
