Earnest Watson

He was the son of Rayford Hartsfield and Estelle Niven Watson. He was born and raised in the Huron Community of Hill County. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He traveled all over the southwestern United States as a carpenter doing construction work. Earnest was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Odell, Buddy, and Avril, and a sister, Ila. Survivors: Sons: Ronald "Mack" Watson and wife, Virginia of Waxahachie; Barry Watson and wife, Melaney of Whitney; one daughter, Reta New and husband, Jimmy of Rockdale. Three brothers: W.H. Watson, Jr. of Carlsbad, MN; Leon Watson of Bowie; K.D. Watson of Lubbock. Six grandchildren, Kim Shelton, Joel New, Regina Engelhardt, Sheryl Ground, Misti Callaway, Tessa Shambaugh;ten great-grandchildren, Greg, Bobby, Jason, Jeremy, Cody, Whitney, Anna, Alex, Zach, and Nate and three great-great-granchildren, Blaise, Natalie and Evan.
