Elizabeth Cooper

Elizabeth Cooper, 84, of Whitney died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Lake Whitney Medical Center in Whitney. Elizabeth was born December 15, 1924 in Lepanto, Arkansas the daughter of Nick and Laura Vickers Music. On May 7, 1955 she married Perry Cooper in Mississippi. She was an avid gardener and yardworker. She was a member of Whitney Church of Christ in Whitney and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #522. Preceding her in death were her parents, three sons, two sisters, and two brothers. Survivors include her husband, Perry Cooper of Whitney; daughter, Laura Ellen Forbes and husband, Brian, of Dallas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
