Emanuel Mateo

Emanuel Mateo, age 24, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026. A Memorial Service will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, 2495 Corsicana Highway, Hillsboro, Texas.

Emanuel was born February 19, 2001, to Pablo Mateo and Mauricia Librado in Hillsboro, Texas. A loving and caring heart, Emmanuel would do anything for anyone who needed help. He loved to give out hugs and kisses. He had a love for reading and could be found reading much of the time. He was a social person and never met a stranger. Always showed respect to those he met. But most of all he loved his mama and was a true mama's boy! He worked for Mateo House Leveling and Construction.

Emanuel is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Juan Librado and Pedro Mateo

He is survived by his parents; his siblings, Magdalena Mateo, Genesis Mateo, Julieta Gonzales, and Jade Gonzales; his grandmothers, Rosa Dominguez and Joaquina Gonzales; his nieces, Jaylyne Simon, and Joselyn Rubio; his nephews, Julian Rubio and Esteban Gonzales; his uncles, Joaquin Mateo, Victor Librado, Eduardo Librado, Odilon Librado, and Alejandro Librado; and his aunts, Beth Mateo, Rosalinda Mateo, Feliciana Mateo, Eudelia Librado and Eugenia Librado.

Emanuel will be missed by all who knew him.
