Ernestine Cummings

Ernestine Crockett Cummings, 80, of Hillsboro died Monday, November 27, 2006, at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Ernestine was born on December 29, 1925 in West, Texas the daughter of William Ernest and Maggie Elva Mosley Belcher. She loved to crochet and quilt. A member of Central Christian Church in Hillsboro, she was very active in her church. She served as a part-time judge in Irving. Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Ellen Williams; and former husband, Donald Crockett. Survivors include her husband, Albert Cummings of Hillsboro; daughter, Linda Lasater and husband, Jim, of Azle; sister, Thelma White of Elm Mott; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a step-granddaughter.
