Ethel Woods

Ethel Marie Woods, 72, of Woodbury passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Fort Worth. Her family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Ethel was born April 10, 1944 in Ballinger, to Lester Weldon, Sr. and Emma Dallie (Cude) Jordon. For many years, she worked as a seamstress at Rose Marie Manufacturing in Hillsboro and Walls Manufacturing and Kimberly-Clark Manufacturing, both in Cleburne. She later became a janitor for Rio Vista ISD until her retirement. Ethel enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. A member of First Assembly of God Church in Hillsboro, she loved going to church and worshiping her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert Woods; and two brothers, Lester Jordon and Tim Jordon.

Survivors include her son, Jeffery Jordon and significant other, Deloris Cogdill, of Woodbury; three brothers, Henry Jordon and Richard Jordon and wife, Glenda, both of Woodbury, and Charles Jordon and wife, Kelly, of Covington; sister-in-law, Patsy Jordon of Woodbury; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
