Francine Adele Conaway

Francine Frank Conaway, 92, of Hillsboro died Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Town Hall Estates in Hillsboro.

She was born Francine Adele Frank, on October 28, 1932, in Fort Worth, Texas to Fred and Monica Frank. A graduate of R.L Paschall High School, she enrolled at Texas Christian University where she met Douglas Conaway on the tennis courts. They married November 1, 1952, in Fort Worth, later making their home in Hillsboro. Francine and Douglas were active members of the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro. They were married sixty-five years until his death in 2017.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue McClure and husband, Bill; her son, Doug Conaway, Jr. and wife, Nancy; her son, Frank Conaway; granddaughter, Becky Forman and husband, Matt; grandson, Patrick McClure and wife, Janelle; grandson, Bryant Conaway and wife, Michelle; great-grandchildren, Madison, MaKenzie and Benjamin Forman, Mason and Maddox McClure; and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro, Paw Pals, or the charity of your choice.

To cherish her memory a visitation will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 20, 2025, followed by a Graveside service at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro.
