Gary Moon

Gary was born February 28, 1945 in Alvarado, Texas to John and Ruth Fannin Moon. On December 7, 1987 he married Brenda Durst in Dallas. He loved his grandkids, his dogs, and was a member of Abiding Life Assembly of God Church in Whitney. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Moon of Blum; his parents, John and Ruth Moon of Alvarado; four children, Harvest Moon of Grand Prairie, Michael Burks of Grand Prairie, Jason Gomes and wife, Andelynn, of Blum, and David Gomes of Blum; and three grandchildren, Corbin Edward Gomes of Blum, Peyton Micheal Burks of Grand Prairie, and Aarika Napps of Blum.
