Gwen Young

Gwen Young, 66, of Whitney died Friday, October 6, 2006, at St. Luke Episcopal Hospital in Houston. Gwen was born August 1, 1940 in Brady, Texas the daughter of Hadye W. & Edith Heald Russell. On June 6, 1959 she married Bryan Young. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Bryan Young of Whitney; mother, Edith Russell of Belton; children, Derek Young and wife, D?Ann, of Copperas Cove and Angela Cox and husband, Jackie, of Killeen; two brothers, Gerry Russell of Punta Gorda, FL and Reagan Russell of Killeen; grandchildren, Lauren Young, Garrett Young, Shanna Young, April Cox, Courtney Cox; and mother-in-law, Juanita Whited of Whitney.
