Hazel Smith

Hazel L. Smith, 95, of Milford died Thursday, September 13, 2007, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Private services will be held at a later date Hazel was born June 15, 1912 in Milford the daughter of Whit Leroy and Vesta C. Dyess Goodman. She grew up in Milford and moved to Denton as a student. On October 12, 1932 she married C. Roy Smith and he preceded her in death in 1962. For many years she was a gift store clerk. She was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church in Milford. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister. Survivors include her children, Jan. L. Smith and wife, Janice, of Milford, Sandra L. Bryant and husband, Leahmon, of Greenville, and David Kent Smith and wife, Caroline, of Milford; two sisters, Hylogene More of North Richland Hills and Maude Alice McDaniel of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
