Iris Delane Moore

Iris Delane Moore passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the age of 77, at her home in Whitney. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am to Noon, Friday, April 17, 2026, at the First Church of The Nazarene in Whitney, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Greg Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney.

Iris was born on September 11th, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas. Delane was loved by Many and was a devoted Christian. She was the daughter of Ira B. Minor (father) and Sara Kamen (mother). Her husband was Stanley N Moore. She loved the work she did in her church, and she loved serving the Lord.

Delane is survived by her brother Ira, her brother Larry, her sister Sharon, and her sister Vickey. Her three daughters are Starla Keen Mathews, Brianna Skidmore, and Cheretta Crumpton. Her Grandchildren Khrystina, Bryttnie, JT, Alyssa, William, Cass, David, Jessica, Nicole, and Nicholas. Her great-grandchildren. Nathen, Kennedy, Kenleigh Delane, Cora, Brooklynn, Brynley, Stanley, Rodney, Kyleigh, Violet, and many others. 

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother, Michael Minor. 

 In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with final Expenses.
