Jaclyn Peacock

Jaclyn "Sissy" Susanne Peacock, age 44, of Whitney passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025.

Jaclyn was born June 2, 1981, in Whitney, Texas, to Jackie Neal and Susan Lewis Neal Sinclair. She graduated from Whitney High School in 1999, and she married her high school sweetheart Lynn Peacock on April 14, 2001, in Hillsboro, Texas. Together they had three sons, Garrett, Gunner and Gannon.

Jaclyn will forever be remembered as a beautiful person with a beautiful soul who brightened the lives of everyone she met. Her warmth and tenderness showed through her love of all children. She could often be found with a baby in her arms. Most of all, she loved her husband and sons, who were a constant source of pride and happiness for her. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving and attentive mother, a precious daughter, and an amazing friend.

Her oldest son Garrett fondly remembers her, writing, "My mom, the rock of our family tree. You poured compassion into raising us three, and every moment with you is a blessing I'll forever cherish. From never having to doubt you had our back, to brushing my hair up until the seventh grade before school because what I had done wasn't "good enough." You taught me everything that has shaped me into who I am today and showed me that quitting was never an option, no matter how tough life got. You weren't just a role model, you set the standard and then assured us the standard was not the goal, but happiness and family was. I love you always."

Preceding her in death were her brother, Dakota Sinclair; grandparents, Charles Lewis, Claudette Lewis, Luther H. (Jack) Neal and Winona Grant Neal; aunts Valerie Lewis, Ruby Lewis Robinson and Nancy Steele; and uncles Richard Lewis, Donny Robinson and Sammy Steele.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-four years Lynn Peacock of Whitney; sons, Garrett Neal Peacock, Gunner Jack Peacock, and Gannon Rex Peacock, all of Whitney; mother, Susan (Lewis) Neal Sinclair and husband, Harold, of Whitney; father, Jackie Neal and wife, Carole, of Hillsboro; siblings, Justin Neal and partner, Nikki, of Whitney, Tyler Neal, of Austin, Lauren Neal and fiancé, Roger Creech, of Hillsboro, and Nick Leighton and wife, Melissa, of Whitney; parents-in-law, Eddie and Lecya Peacock of Whitney; sister-in-law Tessa Dowdy and husband, Chris, of Gatesville; brother-in-law John Peacock and wife, Kyla, of Whitney; and many nieces and nephews, along with numerous cousins, uncles and aunts, and very special friends.
