James Allen Brown

James Allen Brown, Sr., 82, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022.  Memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Whitney Church of Christ, Whitney, Texas.

James was born March 31, 1940, in Paradise, Texas, to Hubert Earl and Minnie Brown.  He was one of fourteen children.

James was united in marriage to Tammy Elaine Yarbrough on January 21, 1984.  He worked for Waste Management for seventeen years, retiring in 1990.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tammy Brown; his children, Tina Gayle Brown, James Allen Brown, Jr., Jessie Brown, and Roger Dale Brown; his stepchildren, Cathy Lynn Yarbrough and Robert Dale Yarbrough; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
