Jane Boyd

Jane was the daughter of Dr. Edwin and Rosa Wright Boyd. Born in Aquilla, she attended Hillsboro schools and graduated from Baylor University. For many years, she was a secretary for Hicks Rubber Company in Waco. Jane was a member of Central Christian Church in Waco, and also a member of the Butler Bible Class there. Her community service included serving as a board member for both the Latin American Christian Center and the Waco Girls Club. She also was a member of the Beaux Arts Club in Waco. Preceding her in death were her parents, and a brother John Boyd. Survivors include four cousins: Mrs. William R. Heaton, Sr. of Richardson; Mr. Edwin Preston of Tyler; Janie Mitchell of Mineola; and Lawrence Wisdom of Blooming Grove.
