John Mccullough

John Gilbert McCullough, 79, retired U.S. Marine Staff Sargent with 14 years of service including 4 tours in Vietnam, lost his battle to cancer on March 17, 2019, in Waco. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

John was born on August 2, 1939, in Moulton, Alabama, to Gilbert and Mary (Kilman) McCullough. He served in and retired from the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a sister, Rebekah Mercer and husband, Jim of North Richland Hills; a brother, Bill McCullough and wife, Betty of Granbury; and daughter, Jennifer Neitsch and husband, Allen of Pearland; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; best friends, Mary Boyd and son, Robert; as well as numerous military buddies across the U.S.A.
