John Thompson

Johnny Joe Thompson, 40, of Whitney passed away at his residence on March 24, 2009. John was born on December 8, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Billy Joe and Charlene Runnels Thompson. He married Mindy Singleton on October 8, 2007 at the Fort Graham Baptist Church in Whitney. He enjoyed working on and talking on CB radios and was an avid Texas longhorn fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Thompson. Survivors include his wife Mindy of Whitney; mother, Charlene Thompson of Hillsboro; stepchildren, Brooke and Brett Singleton of Whitney and numerous other relatives and friends.
