Johnny Carroll

Johnny Ray Carroll, 61, of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, January 22, 2014, in Hill County. His family will host a memorial service in his honor on Sunday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Whitney Church of Christ with Mr. Bruce Martin officiating.

Johnny was born on August 23, 1953 in Whitney to Ray and Letha Carroll. He was a member of The Hills Church in North Richland Hills, Fort Worth, where he served faithfully in the jail and addiction recovery ministries. He had a heart for those trying to recover from addictions and those re-entering the community after incarceration.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Glenn, and his father, Ray Keltner Carroll.

He is survived by his mother, Letha Francis Carroll of Hillsboro; a brother, Donnie and wife, Lisa, of Abilene; and many nieces and nephews.
