Joseph Figge

Joseph Felix Figge, 77, of Whitney and formerly of Camdenton, MO passed away on August 30, 2005 in Whitney. He was the son of Felix and Ethel Lewellen Figge. He grew up and graduated from high school in Kansas City. On May 6, 1950 he married Vi Kamphaus. During the Korean War he served in the United States Navy. He and his wife owned and operated Lakewood Shores Resort and Marina for 42 years before retiring in 1997. They moved to Whitney in 2004. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Glen Figge. Survivors include his wife, Vi and several nieces and nephews.
