Joyce Nelson

Joyce Ann Nelson, 76, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at her residence. Joyce was born April 30, 1931 in Yukon, Oklahoma the daughter of Herb A. and Rhoda E. Honaker O?Dell. On July 1, 1948 she married T. E. ?Ed? Nelson, Jr. in Denison, TX. In 1996 they moved to Hillsboro from Houston. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Brian E. Nelson. Survivors include her husband, T. E. ?Ed? Nelson, Jr. of Hillsboro; children, Sally J. Pitasi and husband, James, of Euless and Douglas T. Nelson of Hillsboro; three brothers, Dwight O?Dell of Calera, OK, Frank O?Dell of Lake Kiowa, TX, and Herby O?Dell of Calera, OK; and a sister, Billie Jo Sweeney of Mesquite.
