Julie Rose Anderson

Julie Rose Anderson (Graves), age 65, of Whitney, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care in Waco, Texas. Born on October 6, 1959, in Crowell, Texas, Julie was the cherished daughter of Jimmy L. and Karen R. (Hall) Graves. Raised in Dallas, Texas, Julie made her home in Whitney, Texas, in 1988, where she became an integral part of the community and lovingly known to her family as Ju-Ju.

A devoted homemaker and spouse, Julie married her beloved husband, Jerry W. Anderson, on August 19, 1978, in Dallas, Texas. Her kind, gentle, and loving nature reverberated through the lives she touched, leaving a profound impact on family and friends alike. Julie embraced her roles as daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and great aunt with grace and dedication, always holding her family in the highest esteem.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy L. Graves; her mother, Karen R. Graves (Hall); her brother, Jimmy L. Graves Jr.; her daughter, Crystal G. Graves; and her son, Jerry W. Anderson Jr.

Julie is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Anderson, of Whitney, Texas; her sister, Sandra Nelson, and her husband, Chris Nelson, also of Whitney, Texas; her nephew, Jimmy L. Graves III, and his wife, Stephanie Graves, of Terrell, Texas; her nephew, Christopher P. Nelson Jr. (C.J.) of Whitney, Texas; her niece, Blaize R. Gardner, and her husband, Justin, of Clifton, Texas; as well as her great nephews, Tyler and Austin Graves of Terrell, Texas; her great niece, Savannah Graves of Terrell, Texas; and Harper R. Gardner of Clifton, Texas.

In addition to her immediate family, Julie leaves behind a host of cousins and cherished relatives, including one aunt and one uncle, who will all remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Julie Rose Anderson will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
