Kelsey Jeter

Kelsey Leanne Jeter, 12, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, June 5, 2009, in Hillsboro. Kelsey attended Hillsboro Intermediate School where she had just completed the 6th grade. She played flute in the band and was 1st chair. She enjoyed everything about nature, and liked to draw and paint. Very much a people person, Kelsey always had a happy and optimistic outlook on life. She was very out-going, always making her own path in life. Kelsey was a very memorable person, making an impression on everyone she met. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Gaines and Cora Jeter. Survivors include her father, Lee Jeter; sister, Kiersten Leigh Jeter; grandparents, Walter and Janice Moore; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
