Kenneth "Kenny" Ramsey, 61, of Whitney, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2026. Born on September 17, 1964, in Fresno, California, Kenny lived a life marked by hard work, dedication to his family, and a passion for vintage cars and craftsmanship.

Kenny was a devoted husband to Kadra and a proud father to Natalie Melendrez (Rick Melendrez), Nicole Warren (Jordan Warren), Nick Ramsey, and Kendra Ramsey-Martinez (Devin Martinez). He was a loving grandfather to three granddaughters and two grandsons, a role that brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Donna and Gary. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Johnson and Donald Ramsey, and his parents-in-law, Lonnie and Ronnie Rusch.

Kenny built an impressive 38-year career in the oil and gas industry. He began as a pipefitter's helper and worked his way up to construction supervisor through dedication, determination, and a strong work ethic. His career took him to 14 states and five countries, where he earned the respect and admiration of coworkers and friends alike. Despite the demands of his job and extensive travel, Kenny found his home in Whitney, Texas, where he lived for the past 20 years.

A talented carpenter who could fix or build just about anything, Kenny took great pride in every home improvement project he completed. He had a lifelong love of vintage and model cars, eventually building his dream garage where he housed several classic cars. He enjoyed working on his cars and racing them at the drag strip, combining his mechanical skill with his enthusiasm for the sport.

One of the highlights of Kenny’s life was celebrating his 52nd birthday while working in China by walking the steps of the Great Wall of China, an experience that reflected his appreciation for life's unique opportunities. Whether spending time with his family or enjoying a great meal and something sweet for dessert, Kenny found happiness in the moments that mattered most.

Kenny will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, generous heart, and deep love for his family. His kindness, humor, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His memory will be cherished always and will continue to bring comfort to all who loved him.
