Laura Burk

Laura Burk, a beloved member of the Whitney, Texas community, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on February 6, 1933 Laura's life was by kindness, compassion, and a steadfast dedication to her family and friends.

The visitation for Laura will be held on June 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors located at 201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their memories of Laura as they pay their respects.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place on June 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ - Whitney, situated at 100 East Lincoln Avenue, Whitney, TX 76692. This gathering will offer an opportunity for all who knew her to honor her legacy and reflect on the moments they shared.

Following the funeral service, Laura will be laid to rest at New Woodbury Cemetery, located at 1515 County Road 1313, Hillsboro, TX 76645, with the burial scheduled to commence at 12:00 PM.
