Maria Dolores Medina

Maria Dolores Medina, age 68, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro. Burial will follow service at Hillcrest Garden of Memory, Hillsboro.

She was born September 9, 1957, in Mexico, to Rodolfo and Dolores (Zarate) Rendon. Maria was united in marriage to Guillermo Medina on January 25, 1977.

Known by her family as Loli, she was known for hospitality - making sure no one left her home without having something to eat, her kind and loving heart, her passion for cleaning nopales, watching her novellas while crocheting or embroidering, caring for her plants, playing Lotteria (Mexican Bingo), and the love she had for her small, humble home.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Rodolfo and Dolores Rendon; and two siblings. She is survived by her husband, Guillermo Medina; 11 siblings; six children, Juana Maria Duron and spouse, Pedro Duron, Rosa Elia Najar and spouse, Mercy Sanchez, Martha Maria Negrete and spouse Jose Jesus Negrete, Guillermina Medina and spouse, Jose Ruperto Valles, Ana Alicia Fuentes and spouse, Miguel Angel Fuentes, and Guillermo Medina, Jr. and spouse, Juana Medina; twenty-one grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
