Mariam Sumner

Mariam Lassetter Sumner 88 of Hillsboro died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Mariam was born February 18, 1921 in Dallas. She graduated from W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas and attended N.T.A.C. in Arlington. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Maggie Lane Lassetter in Dallas; husband, W. B. Monk Sumner, and step-daughter, Sandra Sumner, both of Hillsboro. Survivors include her brother, Frank Lassetter and wife, Leta, of Dallas; and cousin, Nancy Montgomery Hughes of Grand Prairie.
