Martin Custer

Following school, Martin enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy. He lived in Tyler for a time before moving to Wichita Falls seven years ago. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include: His wife, Cynthia Custer of Wichita Falls; mother, Jo Nell Permenter of Quanah; father, B. J. Custer of Moberly, Missouri; 2 brothers, Tony Custer of Quanah, and Bobby Eugene Custer of Waco; 3 aunts, Peggy Barnes of Tyler, Yvonne Akin and husband Thurman of Hillsboro, and Lillian Nybo and husband Gerry of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
